Dating with dogs
What makes someone seemingly more attractive just because they are walking a dog down the street over someone walking alone? Is it the obvious love of four-legged fluff-balls that you now have in common? Or how much he probably loves cuddling with his pup and possibly you in the future?
These are just a few examples of how animals can impact our first impression of someone new that we meet. Animals in our lives can serve as fantastic ice breakers because it is easier to compliment their pet (and secretly them too) with a much lower risk of perceived rejection.
Having a dog on a date also creates some “white noise” AKA a cute furry friend to help keep conversation and laughs going that will pretty much guarantee a fun time. Cute doggy date ideas could be a scenic hike and picnic at the top, a dog park play date if you both have a furry friend, or even a city stroll for coffee and puppachinos! The options are endless and so is the cuteness.
It can also be a good prognostic indicator on a date, when your dog takes well to the person you are on a date with. Dogs have been studied as a good judge of character and intentions, so they might be able to provide the extra insight for how likeable your date is.
