If you’re a Taurus dog, you do well in quieter home environments. You’re a shy dog who prefers to sit back and watch the festivities, rather than join in. You need a comfortable dog bed, or even a doggy cave, where you can go when things might get hectic around the household. Some people may call you lazy, as you’re often seen lying in the middle of the floor, or you may ignore your human when they call you for a trip outside. What they don’t know is that you are always observing, and you can detect where any family member is at any moment.

But the Taurus dog is also highly affectionate and they enjoy cuddling up to their humans. It’s even better if it’s a nice sunny spot near the window, or on the outside patio in the summer time. Taurus is the sign of the bull, which can make you a bit stubborn, but you also enjoy having a consistent routine each day of the year. Even though you can be demanding and stubborn, you can also be quite sweet too.

You’re a dog who wants to please their humans, yet you are also stubborn. If you don’t want to perform the trick, you won’t do it. You may want to stay indoors, rather than head outside into the rain, wind, or snow. You don’t care to meet the guests if it’s nap time.

In contrast, you can get quite excited when your human wants to dress you up. You enjoy this because you suddenly get all the laughs and smiles from your humans. You are a natural model and you enjoy posing for the camera.

You’ll have a good 2023 year ahead. The exception is on July 4th, the day of the fireworks. You’ll have to let your humans know to keep you indoors on this day, as you are highly susceptible to the loud banging sounds.

It may be a challenging year ahead for you as your humans desire to fix up their home and do renovations. They may toss out your old toys, and buy you a new doggy bed and dishes. You really don’t see the point, and would prefer to have your old items back. You’ll have to learn to be more understanding, and not let the Bull rule your entire year. Soon those new possessions will resonate with you, and you’ll be able to let them into your life. But you’ll also be sneaky enough to snatch your items out of the garbage when your humans aren’t looking too!
