Is there a cure for separation anxiety?

Behavioral issues are the #1 reason why dogs end up in shelters. According to the ASPCA approximately 3.1 million dogs are surrendered or placed in U.S. animal shelters every year. Even more worrisome? Thousands never get adopted.

But there is good news!

We  can quite literally save the life of a dog with proper training and care. We simply must learn to listen to our dogs, communicate effectively, correct bad behaviors, and respond appropriately. With a little love and lots of patience, almost all issues can be overcome. On this episode of B's and Queens with Caitlin Palmer, we meet Dr. Vanessa Spano, who's a veterinary behavioralist. Dr. Vanessa provides veterinary support for the ASPCA adoption animals and victims of animal cruelty and hoarding.

They talk about anxiety in dogs, what it is and how to treat it.

We love you for listening!
