If you’re a dog lover, you may be wondering about which dog breeds are the coolest? It’s really hard to narrow it down to one dog breed, as they’re all great. But we’ve saved some of the work for you, and have narrowed it down to the five coolest dog breeds, along with a few reasons why.

 

1. The Great Dane Dog

 

This is one of the biggest dog breeds. Their coats have short grey hair with dark black markings and super-long necks. This dog is known for its gentle demeanor. It was originally bred as a hunter, but today is more of a couch potato. They also make the perfect therapy or service animal as they are smart and learn quickly.

 

2. The Schnoodle Dog

 

This dog is an adorable cross between a Schnauzer and a Poodle. They can have a wide range of size differences, so can be small dogs, or large dogs. This type of dog is friendly and happy, and are smart and easily trainable. If you can’t decide on what type of dog to adopt, this friendly dog cross may be right for you!

 

3. The Whippet Dog

 

The whippet has a white and black coat, but it has a striking shape. It’s body is long and elongated, with a wider chest region, and long thin legs. They are elegant and have a grace about them when they move. They are also known to make gentle pets, and can be highly affectionate.

 

4. The Golden Retriever Dog

 

Who doesn’t love the Golden Retriever? Every person here can easily recognize their reddish-gold coats, their floppy ears, fluffiness, and happiness. This dog has plenty of energy, and they are fun to watch as they run around and have fun. They are noted for their extra cuteness!

 

5. The Blue Heeler Dog

 

This dog has the look of a wild cat or a wolf. You may never have seen one out in public before. They have black, orange, and white coats, and pointy tall ears. They’re also known by the name, the Australian Cattle Dog, or Heeler. And you’ll be interested in learning that this dog does have Australian Wild Dog in their genetics. This dog traditionally herds cattle.
