New study sheds light on public confidence in scientists

In an era where extreme controversy exists about vaccination safety , public confidence in medical experts is always a concern

However, good news for veterinarians, Pew Research just released a survey finds public confidence in scientists exceeds the levels of public confidence in other groups and institutions, including the media, business leaders and elected officials.

However, the study also found that Americans are divided along party lines in terms of how they view the value and objectivity of scientists and their ability to act in the public interestts, especially when it comes to trust in scientists whose work is related to the environment.
