Why we are obsessed with Shay & Rocket

Horsing Around with TikTok Star and Vegan Cook, Shayna Chapman

Ask Shayna Chapman what her two favorite things are, and it will be a tossup.

On one hand (or should we say, hoof?) there is her beautiful horse, Rocket. On the other, she has her love of vegan food.

Luckily, being a social media star, Shayna doesn’t have to choose – she can be passionate about both! Today on My Pet Candy, we get to know what it’s like being an influencer, plus talk about vegan cooking and tasty how-to recipes.

So, without further ado…

Life as a Top Horse Influencer

As little girls, many people dream of riding horses. Afterall, who can resist a long, dark, flowing mane, strong, muscular body, and sweet horsey face? Not to mention all the fun and excitement that comes with participating in horseshows and competitions.

For Shayna, that dream became a reality.

Her horse Rocket is gorgeous.

As an accomplished equestrian, Shayna spends much of her time at the barn. But when she’s not hauling hay, cleaning stalls, or feeding Rocket carrots, she can be found filming content for her TikTok channel: @shay_and_rocket

In fact, 398.5K followers have accumulated a grand total of 12.4 million likes on her page.

And hold your horses! Rocket and Shana’s popularity doesn’t stop there. Her Instagram account @shayswayoffical also has over 15 thousand loyal fans, all of whom are just as in love with Rocket’s silly antics (and Shay’s incredible dance moves) as we are. From jumping videos to funny horse humor, there’s something for all the #horsegirls out there.
