How true that is!

For many people, life is a constant and everchanging search for meaning, purpose, and passion. For lucky individuals like Adrian Archie, life has brought many opportunities. From playing football for 18 years to having a successful sales and marketing career in Corporate America, Adrian’s time on earth so far has been filled with action. 

But ultimately, he has returned to his #1 passion – pets.

Since doing so, Adrian Archie’s official title has changed, too. He is now known as The "Small Box" Pet Franchisor. Or if you prefer, founder of petNmind Natural Nutrition and Self-Service Dog Wash.

So, without further ado…get to know the man with a plan, Adrian Archie!

What is petNmind Naturals & Self-Wash?

It all began with a cat named Rocko.

Like every responsible pet parent, Adrian wanted only the best for his cat. Yet when Rocko had bad allergic reactions to food purchased from the local grocery store, Adrian began investigating healthier options. Seeing the positive difference a natural diet had on Rocko, Adrian got thinking. Hmmm…

What if he could find a way to educate folks about holistic nutrition and offer all-natural treats and pet supplies?

In 2014, petNmind Natural Nutrition and Self-Service Dog Wash was born!

Adrian explains:

“I left the Medical Device Industry to launch petNmind Naturals. We are primarily a brick-and-mortar pet supply and hygiene franchise brand. We focus on quality and personalization from a pet and pet parent perspective.”

In fact, Adrian says “being the authentic me, starting my own company, and growing people instead of holding them back” were the easiest career decisions he ever made.

Authenticity Over Everything

Speaking of being authentic, it’s a trait Adrian Archie values highly.

In addition to hard work, appreciating others, and balancing the good with the bad, Adrian believes authenticity is key to unlocking your true self.

“I left Corporate America and took a calculated risk by launching petNmind,” he shares. “Now in hindsight, the career advice I wish I had when I first entered the workforce is ‘Be Authentic.’ In a corporate environment, authentic is nearly a derogatory word, yet I may have taken the leap into full-time entrepreneurship much earlier in life.”

Indeed, when vet med professionals pretend to be somebody they aren’t, our community is robbed of their true gifts!

Adrian agrees.

He adds, “In reality, authenticity is all we really have that is unique and it is the primary reason so many are unfulfilled. They must perform at a high level, but not while truly being themselves.”

Always Be a Bridge. Not a Dam

Embracing his authenticity has allowed Adrian Archie to wear many hats.

In addition to being a husband, father (to humans AND a cat, two dogs, and guinea pig) he is also an entrepreneur, friend, and mentor. Despite being pulled in so many directions, his mission in life is simple: always be a bridge not a damn.

He says, “Simply put, I love on, connect, support, mentor, network, and pray for people to be fulfilled, whole, and successful. I believe that we are meant to be conduits for God to work through to bless others. So, the idea of being a storehouse is a major mission. blessings come to me and then through me.”
