Bringing your new cat home is exciting and stressful all at once. Taking steps prior to bringing your cat home can help ensure a smooth transition:

Cats are excellent jumpers and climbers, which always their curious nature to extend to many spaces throughout the house.

As exciting as it will be to introduce them to all the new toys, and extended family or friends, it’s also important to notice that they may also feel overwhelmed by all the sudden changes. Having a safe space, like a bed or crate, will allow them to retreat for some space and quiet time if needed.
