What's my Libra dog's horoscope this year?

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

You’re a dog who is the balancer of the scales. People tend to believe that you have no emotions at all, because you’re just a dog. But that’s not true. The emotions are deep inside. You just want to present your calm and cool doggy demeanor, so that the ginger cat next door doesn’t try to rattle your nose. You are an air sign, hence the two scales on either side that float through the air and tip at will. It’s up to you to keep your scales perfectly balanced, though your human will do the best for you.

You do your best to balance the scales, particularly for yourself. You’re generally the mediator in the room, the one who tries to solve disputes. You may secretly enjoy it, storing up a big long growl for that other dog you live with! But once the dispute is done, you’re back to being friends once again, as the atmosphere of the Earth rebalances your scales.

This year, you’re going to get along with more people, dogs, and cats than you think. You thought you already had a lot of friends, but more are on the way. Try not to exhaust yourself too much. Remember that dogs need at least 14 hours of sleep a day! Be sure to set aside some time for self-care, because you are important too!

Your traditional birthstone is the opal, which is a symbol of love and affection. If you can convince your human to buy you a new collar, then ensure that they also get you a little dangling gem too! This will attract more love and attention from your humans to you, who always love you. But if you’re ever annoyed that they seem to spend a bit too much time away from home, wearing an opal pendant will help to balance this issue for you, as the balance of the scales works both ways.

As a Libra, you may be quieter than the average zodiac sign. It’s important over the rest of the year to ask for what you need, such as extra attention from your humans as mentioned above. Don’t be afraid to stand by that supper dish and yowl for an extra serving. You’re a dog and you deserve it!
